This has been my go-to devotional, the first one I grab when I start my Bible study. Guthrie writes her devotionals from personal experience and faithfully weaves scripture into her stories. She challenges the reader to dig deeper and study further into scripture to truly understand what God is telling us in His Word. This devotional is broken up into topics which allows me to either go through it day by day or jump to a specific topic. I would highly recommend this book!

This was the first Bible I got after being saved. I customized it, taped it up, and marked it up A LOT. It being a devotional Bible was helpful when I was a new believer. It was like having older women to turn to, sitting right there with me as I read the scripture. It defines 24 spiritual disciplines of a Christian and clearly labels each with an icon. Each devotion falls into one of the 24 areas that helped me learn what area was being touched on in the scripture it referred to. This Bible is a great resource that I still use and I would highly recommend it to infantile believers and mature believers alike!
